Gina was almost afraid to go to the restaurant the next morning. When she awoke, she was sore in a way she had never been before, but none of it was an unpleasant soreness. The memory of what she had done with Hunter in the deserted restaurant made her blush—she sort of just wanted to crawl under the covers and pull them over her head.

Hunter was probably used to this kind of thing. He was a very sophisticated man who traveled the entire world. He was handsome and wealthy. Women threw themselves at him, and she knew that.

To him, their little tryst was probably just a passing moment, for all she knew he engaged in that same kind of behavior with every female cook who came down the line. She got out of bed slowly, stretching to loosen her tight and sore muscles. Her bottom burned the worst, and she put a hand back there, touching the flesh gingerly.

Her flesh was still slightly warm to the touch, and swollen. She wondered if it was still red—Hunter had seemed very proud of the fact that she had turned that color. He'd seen it as a mark of honor almost. Gina never would've admitted what she did next. She climbed up on her toilet in order to see her bottom in the mirror that hung above the sink in her small bathroom.

Yes, it was still slightly rosy. It was probably a good thing that she didn't have to sit down anytime today. She got into the shower and lathered soap over her body, washing away all traces of Hunter. Her hands slid down her body to the sticky and dried fluids gathered at the outer edges of her labia, tangled into her pubic curls, and she felt a moment of panic.

She had been on birth control since forever, but last night she hadn’t even considered using a condom. Neither had Hunter, apparently. Did he often engage in this kind of behavior? And it was dangerous too. He could be throwing away his entire career for a one-night stand. It had been one hell of a one night stand, but what if she decided to go for a sexual harassment charge against him?

He tended to doubt that she would—she had seemed just as eager as he was to get into bed…okay so there hadn’t been an actual bed involved at all.
